Gel Plate Printing

Gel Plate Printing

Gel plate (or Gelli Plate) printing is a joyful, colorful process that transforms paint and texture into endless creative possibilities. Using a soft, flexible plate, you roll on layers of paint, then experiment with stencils, stamps, image transfers, and textures to build rich, multi-layered designs.

Each pull of the plate reveals a surprise, making every print truly one of a kind.

The finished pieces can be enjoyed on their own- framed as vibrant artwork - or used as raw material for other projects.

Prints can be added to art journals, transformed into paper beads, handmade cards, collage elements, or backgrounds for mixed media.

Prints can be pulled onto watercolor paper, mixed media paper, rice paper, scrap papers, and even fabric!

Gel printing is both playful and versatile, inviting you to explore color, pattern, and spontaneity.

Every session is an adventure, and every print carries its own unique magickal and artistic thumbprint of your creativity.

You can attend a group gel plate printing class or book a one-on-one session with me to learn the basic skills of creating your very own get print creations.

Group class prices will be listed on any scheduled gel plate printing classes (which will usually range from $25 to $55 depending on what you will be working on).

You can also schedule a one-on-one class with me at $44 per hour and this would include all basic supplies.
