Clay Creations

Clay is one of the most versatile mediums for bringing imagination to form. In my clay classes, we'll be working with both polymer clay and/or ceramic clay to create small wall decorations, lidded bottles, rattles, and wearable art jewelry.

Each piece can be adorned with found wood, copper wire, beads, paint, glaze, crystals, tiny trinkets, or found objects making every creation as unique as the artist who shapes it.

The process invites play and wonder, blending earth's raw materials with personal inspiration.

No two pieces are ever alike, each one carries its own magickal energy, whimsical spirit, and story. The possibilities are endless, limited only by imagination.

Clay creations become more than art; they are keepsakes of intention and creativity, grounding beauty into a tangible form that can be cherished or worn close to the heart.

Ceramic pieces must be kilned at least once if you are going to hand-paint them, and twice if you are going to glaze them. Keep that in mind regarding how much time you have and how soon you want your creation.

Polymer clay is created and baked the same day, and is a quicker process, but each type of clay has it's unique and special purposes.

You can attend a group clay creations class or book a one-on-one session with me to learn the basic skills of creating your very own crafted clay piece. This can be as simple or elaborate as you prefer and can take one to several days to complete depending on what type of clay you want to work with.

Group class prices will be listed on any scheduled clay creations classes (which will usually range from $45 to $88 depending on how elaborate, intricate, and large your piece will be).

You can also schedule a one-on-one class with me at $44 per hour and this would include all basic supplies, this price may be adjusted depending on how large and intricate your piece is and what is incorporated in creating it.
